Define range from CLI

Your sample has no audio or subs, so it is useless for developing and testing this feature. Also, what's the point of giving me an MKV? Is your source MKV or bluray MPLS?

You're right. I should remove that from the script sample. You have opened up an interesting line of analysis about coded size != displayed size.

So that is asking for the overlay. If you don't want it, omit that option or set it to False.

I'll check if there is a way to do it without excessive complexity. Give me some days for it.

You can see the filenames, don't ask me to do your work.

DGDemux is not intended to be a clone of MediaInfo. I did what was possible without needing to parse deeper than is needed for demuxing.

Thank you hubblec4. I'll leave that part as is then. The addition of -noforcedonly should not affect you.

Extract also Forced subs (not "only forced subs")

DGDemux can not know the count of the total and force subs until all is demuxed. Correct. But what I could do is automatically delete the forced subs file if it has the same count as the main subs file. The problem is that not having a forced subs file implies there are no forced subs, when in fact...

Hello arrgh, great to hear from you. Sounds like that could be the enhancement stream. Please do this:

Uncheck the merge DolbyVision options. Demux again. Tell me what you get for the two resulting streams 1011 and 1015. Maybe there is an issue with the merge.

Not trying to argue here, but what is the point of creating tracks that are identical but named differently? If a track contains all forced events, you automatically create an identical duplicate track with a (forced) name as shown in the example above. There's no point obviously, but I never ran a...

All I'm willing to do is add -noforcedonly, which when given suppresses creation of forced only streams. Yes, obviously, the forced subs are still in the main subs file, it's just that a forced only file would not be created.

Extract also Forced subs (not "only forced subs")

Are you asking for an option to not create the forced subs streams? Something like -noforcedonly? If the option is not given, the forced streams would be created as usual and 3rd-party apps are not affected. Note that the THD audio stuff is another matter, we've discussed that elsewhere. @ hubblec4 ...

Any chance this could be an on/off option? Not clear to me what you mean by "this". If you ask for an interface change it's on you to specify exactly what the revised interface will be. I'll add that we have extensive discussions in the forum before deciding on and implementing things. Coming along...

Chance of supporting this is close to zero. You can use the -o path option to add a prefix of your choosing to all the demuxed files. Refer to the manual for details.

Sherman has made a slipstream for DGDecNV linux build 231: * Fixed spaces in filenames. :salute: DepriSheep * For multiple input files use a list of arguments instead of a comma-delimited list. Refer to the manual for details. * Updated and corrected the text documents. https://rationalqm.us/dgdecn...

We need to rewrite the command line parsing for linux compatibility. I had done this for DGDemux but never thought to do it for DGIndexNV.

Until Sherman makes a fix [he's the linux director now ;)] please use an underscore instead of a space. Should have a fix today or tomorrow.
