clarification about fault-tolerant video/audio processing

Thank you for the update! And good luck to Dan H.

I was thinking how we need a dead-man's switch for DG closed-source code.

Thank you for the follow-up. Curly heaved a sigh of relief. :D

Maybe we should make the UTF-8 manifest the default?

Working fine for me here. Get the DGIndexNV.exe.UTF8.manifest fresh from the 245 distribution and rename it to DGIndexNV.exe.manifest. Put that in the same directory as the DGIndexNV.exe that you are running. Then retry. There's nothing in DGIndexNV code that could control whether it writes ANSI ver...

GPU decoder error with 245.

OK, thank you renols. We'll go with this fix. Please use that exe until I release a slipstream. Note that this test is not present in DGDecodeNV. Thank you for your report and testing!
I am trying to open a BD disc, so it is AVC format.
BDs can be MPEG2 and VC1 as well. ;)

GPU decoder error with 245.

nVidia driver version? Is your Win7 32-bit or 64-bit? Do you run 32-bit or 64-bit DGIndexNV? Video format? AVC? HEVC? other? Resolution? Does it happen with all files and video types? Meanwhile, I'll play a hunch. Re-download the tormento test and try that. 245 has a new test of decoder capabilities...

7.1 channels in audio name

Thanks for the analysis, Bullwinkle . I was able to hack up an attempt at this. Please download and test this: https://rationalqm.us/misc/DGIndexNV_tormento.exe For both the audio list in the GUI and for the demuxed file name, it should show either 5.1 or 7.1. For anything else nothing is shown. Can...

And modify avsresize to support CUDASynth protocol. It's not difficult.
No. To gain anything you need to port z algorithms to CUDA.

Are you testing PQ to HLG or PQ to SDR internal conversion?
PQ to HLG. The scripts were given here:
