Direct File input for DGDemux

Gonna output the PSI (PAT/PMT) in the demuxXXXX.txt logfile and then in the GUI have a "Log" button that invokes an editor on the logfile. Working good in my build. Gonna test some more and then give a test update.

Direct File input for DGDemux

OK guys, try this new version of the files demuxer (update both DGDemux.exe and DGDemuxGUI_Files.exe):

https://rationalqm.us/dgdemux/binaries/ ... 0_test.zip

It's much more streamlined. Look for the Preview button in the file list dialog. ;) There may still be some minor UI bugs.

I'm not happy with the UI as it requires a two-step operation just to open a single file. I'm going to implement a better way that still avoids massive command lines sent to DGDemux.

Unable to demux particular BD - audio tracks issue

No problem Sir, and thank you for the update. It looks like a fun movie and I got it cheap so no problemo.

Do come again if you ever run into any issues, or even if you don't. ;)

Unable to demux particular BD - audio tracks issue

That file is corrupted as it does not have sync bytes at 192 byte intervals, nor 188 nor 204. And MediaInfo crashes when opening it. Could be a bad rip. I'll look into this further when the disk arrives.

Unable to demux particular BD - audio tracks issue

I've ordered the disk for arrival May 28. If you like in the meantime you can use DGSplit to cut the first 50MB from 00002.m2ts on the Japanese disk you mentioned and upload that somewhere for me. That could be enough to solve the matter. Thank you.

It uses its own system. I've got things working fine though. DGDemux is very light weight (Sherman's "fast mode") and avoids any ES parsing. Eac3to is heavy-weight and likely provides the same functionality I leveraged from ffmpeg. Let's see how the tasting goes. I have a few UI glitches fixed that ...

Can you please give me a link to purchase that specific disk? Then I'll be able to duplicate and debug the issue. Thank you.

Direct File input for DGDemux

I was fixin' to give y'all a test version but ran into a final snafu. Demuxing subs from multiple input files requires knowing the frame rate, because in the disk app the CLPI file is used to get the per-M2TS durations. In DGIndexNV, when opening multiple files the frame rate and frame count are use...

Direct File input for DGDemux

MPLS has access to all the information in the MPLS and CLPI files, while M2TS does not. For example, you can't do strict playlist because that is disk-level information. Also, opening at disk level makes it easy to determine the needed M2TS files based on the playlist, while you're on your own if yo...

You mean the -files option or the channel mask fix? For -files you have to wait for the new GUI. For the channel mask fix it should work fine as is (rename the test version to DGDemux.exe and put it in the same directory as DGDemuxGUI.exe). Are you having a problem?

I decided to just bump the define to 500 as malloc'ing was a bit fiddly. Releasing slipstream.

Thank you lenoil. I'll go you one better and try to do it with malloc() so that there is no limit. Thank you for the sample. :salute:

OK, I found the controlling #define and it is set to 100. How many do you need?
