Try Doom9. Probably tebasuna51 knows about this.

Looping audio data issue
I don't know how it is supposed to work but I do know you're supposed to have -loop at the end of your commands. You might get better help on this at Doom9.

Can't process one-frame .ac3 file
Without yet looking at the code or your sample I would suppose that eac3to requires some minimum number of frames to reliably detect the format. May I ask what is your use case that requires processing single frames?

Get list of tracks for .mpls file
The designed way is this:
eac3to path_to_disk
That produces the list of MPLS files.
Then you choose one of the MPLS files, e.g.:
eac3to path_to_disk 1)
That produces a list of the streams.
So, by design it is a two-step process. Your stated process is a variant of the above.

Thanks, AY. It's hard because everybody's asking for different behavior. I'll review it all and try to come up with something that satisfies everyone.

[bug] Crash on processing buggy ac3 file
Not crashing here. Try re-downloading 3.52, maybe you missed a slipstream.
Code: Select all
D:\Don\Programming\Delphi\EAC3TO>eac3to test.ac3 test.wav
Running in fast mode
Removing dialnorm
The format of the source file could not be detected.

Looking good, Sherm. Three things: 1. Glad to see you're not using duct tape anymore to insulate connections. 2. You don't need a 3-prong to 2-prong AC adapter on a two-prong line cord. 3. Be sure to insulate those unused output transformer wires.

My understanding is that players need the merged stream. For definitive answers on dolbyvision stuff, please use the Doom9 forum.

You can demux them separately and then if needed you can merge them with dovitool.

That was a sarcastic reply to Levi.
I'll try to get time on our machines ASAP to address your matters. Sorry for the delays.
BTW, aron7awol wants me to simply remove dn completely for THD and EAC3 because formally it breaks the streams, not sure about DTS.
