I've been working for 10 hours straight on the change to make DGSource() use Vapoursynth API4, so I'll start working on this tomorrow.
You need definitive a break. Have a good night.

Yes it is the same disc with the same settings we discussed before.

I will test it.

EDIT:
With -ignorepl it works.

Problem with multi-edition MKV creation

That was a good question because I never demux the video.
cE shows 103%(output from DGDemux) while demuxing, that means the extra m2ts files are used.

But also the Video duration is too short.

Problem with multi-edition MKV creation

Hi Rocky I wanted to work on the feature and found that the "-extras" switch no longer works. When demuxing the audio tracks, they are only as long as the playing time of the mpls. But the playing time should be longer because there is still extra audio data from the additional m2ts files. With vers...

And for me is it fine when you mark this issue as resolved.

You should always remove such small m2ts files.

Rocky, you are a genius.
00006.mpls, the streams have after demuxing exactly the same length like MTX muxed the MKV.

I meant the thread discussing this COLUMBO 00006 playlist. Were you referring to something else? Didn't the guy just give you the disk? He said he reported it to you.
Sorry I misunderstood this. We talk via email because he is still waiting to be activated by Doom9.

Just to be clear, I'm still going ahead with honoring the per-clip windows, because that's what the bluray spec calls for. I will default to what used to be -sp, and which will now be -ignorepl for ignore playlist in/out times.
Sounds great Rocky, and I hope it is not so much work for you.

Further data on your COLUMBO 00006.mpls. It is not in fact a looping of the opening. The playlist repeats the 00001.m2ts twenty times, but each one has a different INtime/OUTtime: 1st clip is IN 4199, OUT 4412 (in seconds) 2nd clip is IN 4425, OUT 4514 3rd clip is IN 4735, OUT 4816 etc. So this pla...

Playing the devil's advocate... If it is true that there is never data outside the windows for a main movie demux, then it would be harmless to always honor the windows, i.e., it would effectively be a no-op. So why not just go ahead and always honor the windows? It would be the same as our strict ...

I hacked up the utility and ran it on your 00006.mpls. It detected data after the out time but no data before the in time. That agrees with the fact that it is a loop of the opening. I ran it on two random disks from my collection and it detected no data outside the windows for any M2TS in the play...

When I use the -collapse and -sp switch, I get a 3:33 second long MKV which is the same duration from the first play_item. OK, good. But for this mpls the -collapse option should not be used. Why not? If the 00001.m2ts file is only used once, then all other data for the following PlayItems will be ...
