Don't worry. We go way back.
Ok, now I understand what happened.

I did a clean installation of DGDecNV and I forgot to use the correct manifest.

I have some issues with latest build, i.e. the one you created for 7.1 audio support. Please, help me to understand if it's my side problem. Just have a source BD directory named Thor – Love and thunder . The minus is ALT+0150 on numeric pad. The stable version will create ANSI DGI, while the test o...

I had some time to test approx gamma. Any luck with the approximate_gamma hack?
I need to empty the encoding queue before trying. Will do ASAP.

7.1 channels in audio name

It's since a while that I noticed this thing but I always forgot to report.

When 7.1 audio is found, DGIndex marks it as (example) […] C+L+R+SL+SR 48 […] like a 5.1 audio.

Is it possible to have it fixed?

And modify avsresize to support CUDASynth protocol. It's not difficult.

It's clear that the biggest discrepancy is introduced at the final stage, so we will focus on the reasons for that first.
Are you testing PQ to HLG or PQ to SDR internal conversion?

You did that because you think it's appropriate for HLG? AVSResize uses matrix_coefficients : transfer_characteristics : color_primaries. The LUT changes the transfer characteristics from st2084 to std-b67, as per HLG standards. I am not so into that to understand it fully but someone more expert t...

So can I get that stream please? Mmm... hard to decide what piece to send. There are some parts that show the difference better and they are all really far from each other. Should be working for lim-lim-lim YUV. Yes, it works now. If you confirm it is working we can look at the tiny discrepancies. 1) BBC PQ to HLG, external conversion z_ConvertFormat(pixel_type="RGBP16", colorspace_op="2020:st2084:2020:limited=>rgb:st2084:2020:full", resample_filter_uv="spline64", dit...

Thank you for testing. I see tiny discrepancies between the product of external (identical to AVSCube) and of internal processing (look at graphs, mostly). z_ConvertFormat(pixel_type="RGBP16", colorspace_op="2020:st2084:2020:limited=>rgb:st2084:2020: full ", resample_filter_uv="spline64", dither_ty...
