Now let's see how hard it is to integrate that into DGIndexNV.
DGNV is getting better and better every day. :hat:

Remember that THERE the track names are important. :D

Sorry, I don't understand. How and where do I see these track names?
gMKVExtractGUI or MKVToolnix GUI @ track 3 there is a F I put to remember it is a forced sub. You can set it on Track Name in right panel of MKVToolnixGUI. More complex Animes have "signs" "speech only" "songs" etc

Re: MKV demux support

Please tell your mkvtoolix version and give the exact commandline. No need to use complex command line. It works with CLI too. When you open the correctly named file in mkvmerge GUI and highlight the subtitle track do you see the Delay value in mkvtoolix GUI? No, you can't. As I wrote before you ca...

Examples with streams?
Look at Marnie subs. They have track names.

Re: MKV demux support

I might be wrong or there could be a bug in MKVToolNix GUI My money would be that delays in subtitles must be explicitly stated I tried to insert delay on subtitles both as CLI and GUI and both worked, Unfortunately the delay gets lost as subtitles are sparse stream and there is no way to get it ba...

You can always manually enter a delay into mkvmerge
MKVToolnix honors the delay you put to subs when muxing, I tried and asked on MKV thread too. I am asking how is possible to reverse engineer the delay when demuxing.

Because it is a subtitle the delay in the name it is ignored by mkvmerge
AFAIK it's not true. MKVToolnix honors delay for every stream.

Re: MKV demux support

The delay is the start time code of the first subtitle I can't understand why. Delay should be the one you put in MKVToolnix when you don't want to edit srt with same fps but from different source (and it happens, when you need to translate from foreign language and the foreign BD edition has more ...

SRT delay

@admin :hat:

I was playing a bit with Justice League and Detroit BDs.

I noticed that the srt filenaming gives strange delay results, such as: DELAY_150751ms or DELAY_166668ms.

I have compared with the srt extracted by GMKV and they are identical in time codes and contents.

Re: Feature Requests

NVDec (CUVID) does not support 4:4:4. Call it HW if you like because the VP engine is apparently limited. If I try to set Decode_Modes=1,1,1,1 (in Settings) before exiting DGIndexNV, it hangs when dropping that file. If I set 1,1,1,1, exit (so that it saves ini), run again and drop file, it complai...

4:4:4

I was looking for some strange and wicked material to test demuxing and I went thru a strange mkv with video encoded as 4:4:4 profile with 10 bit depth too. DGIndexNV tells: "GPU decoder: CUVID currently supports only 4:2:0 chroma". Is it a hardware or a software boundary? Video ID : 1 Format : AVC ...

OK, back from swimming. At 45 to get Divemaster license I have to learn how to swim again and better. Hard but necessary as it will be part of exams. Thank you for your testing, Guest 2. You are always welcome. It will remain one-by-one. The MKV file parsing is fast enough and the files small enough (compared to video) that everything usually finishes before the DGI file is done or shortly thereafter. I demux from a very fast SSD to another phys...
