Re: Feature Requests
Does this seem reasonable or would you prefer me to mark them by default? My thinking is that the demuxed font files are not changed by changing the project range so demuxing them once should be enough. You don't want it to happen every time you save the project. It would be useful to have the corr...

Re: Feature Requests
Tried latest build with mkv (h264, 3 srt subs, 2 DTS and 2 AC3 + chapters). I tried to demux only 3 srt subs and 2 DTS. The 1st DTS was output with DGI, almost same time. The 1st srt was created as 0 byte file while creating DGI and then completed. The 2nd DTS was created after the finished message,...

Re: Feature Requests
Alright gents, start your engines. Here is a test version supporting SRT and SSA in MKV. SRT extraction finishes after Finished! is shown in toolbox. sometimes SRT are not extracted at all, truncated or bit for bit different from MKVTools extracted ones Please, more than name to the stream and chan...

Re: Feature Requests
That's it.
Consider that ass format sometimes includes fonts as attachments, such as when superimposing non latin signals with translations.
If needed I can provide you an example.

Re: Feature Requests
Glad you like the update. Technically, aside from DGI generation, everything in a container is a stream and thus a "streams" menu would be a nice replacement for audio one. You could simply present all the included streams, from video to audio, subs and chapters (and attachments too, if any) and le...

Re: Feature Requests
Tested and you can't grab chapter.txt from MakeMKV.
Easiest way is to use Eac3to https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=125966 (??? becomes ??? dunno why)
with some GUI such as HdBrStreamExtractor https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3TNxv ... sp=sharing

Re: MKV stream demux
I have blurays, so you can help by telling me which app and how you run it in order to get chapters and subs. The easiest way to rip a BD to mkv is using MakeMKV. There is a free key while still in beta which is T-97pzDZ1bt6gLQbt9KpzffjEI0pRF_MjHnzDHBI@nwQIQpFmCmzpTlyzHfbI1ghXsR7 It's useless to ri...

MKV stream demux
As far as I can see the process is a multiple pass: first is generation of DGI and then audio stream demux, one by one. It is time consuming, compared to use DGIndexNV for dgi only and then some tool as gMKVExtractGUI. The perfection would be demuxing while creating dgi. And, little note, if you abo...

Thanks. I will test it thoroughly.

[RESOLVED] MKV demux support
Now that I discovered that Eac3to encoding to ac3 is buggish, I have to extract every stream from Matroska containers and then encode audio from DTS to AC3 with ffmpeg. Then I have to process MKV again with DGIndexNV to have the dgi. Could you please implement matroska demux, even using external mkv...

Fixed is of little use, as every movie has different noise (and film grain too).admin wrote:What fixed parameter sets would be useful for you?

Re: About DGDenoise
I haven't decided the exact temporal denoising to be implemented [thank you for pointing out TemporalSoften()], but it will surely be done with additional parameters and not by adding a new filter. As first iteration, get a look to KNLMeansCL source and just kick in the temporal part. I am curious ...

Re: About DGDenoise
Please keep the three filters, or at least full NLM. KNN is a simplified version of NLM and almost useless in any situation so that we will be back using KNLMeansCL.admin wrote:The integrated functionality will be the KNN kernel. This will give decent and fast noise reduction.

Re: About DGDenoise
Do you plan to create a new DGDecodeNV with DGFilter as option in same dll? I'm considering it, but wonder about the point if there is already a stand-alone filter. I am not a programmer but I think that could mean less gpu calls and overhead. Plus, I know it's not a culprit, you would get more lic...
