Re: Quick question about filters
Hi. I have found that unless you are using some filters in the AVS file, one might as well leave out Prefetch(x), as that will just slow down things. If the source one have is pure progressive, and all that needs to be done is cropping and maybe resizing, then leaving out prefetch(x), will be faster...

Re: Feature Requests
Investigating the subs number issue... Dialog norm is not removed. I'll look into doing that optionally. Right now, I don't even know what it is. Hehe. I have no clue either. Just notice when using eac3to that it removes it per default, and it says that it is not recommended not to remove it....

Re: Feature Requests
Hi. Found a small issue today. Seems like the number of subtitles written in the log file is wrong by a factor of 2. 00801 PID 1200 eng.sup [total 4134, forced 0] (the actual number of subs are 2067) 00801 PID 1208 eng.sup [total 2, forced 0] (the actual number of subs are 1) Otherwise it seems to b...

Re: DGindexNV started crashing.
1 video 22 audios 32 subs That is what is listed in the demux window. Just downloaded the new version of the file, and I can now enter and exit the demux menu as I please. Guess this disk has about the maximum number of weird audios and subs that can be encountered. Thanks a bunch for the quick work...

Re: DGindexNV started crashing.
The total is 12a0 through 12bf which should be a total of 32 subtitles. It is only if I enter the demux menu and press done that it happens if too many are enabled. If I just leave the demux menu alone everything gets demuxed (all 32 subs). It must be something that happens when clicking done and ex...

Re: DGindexNV started crashing.
I can confirm that the test version successfully demuxes. I end up with the same sized files as with build 147 plus all the subtitles. However I may have found another issue. There is an insane amount of subs on the disk I am testing with. If I open the mpls file and then press F4 to demux, then all...

Re: DGindexNV started crashing.
The disks I have available are all non US disks. They are Scandinavian disks. Buying one might therefore be an issue. However I have done some more testing, and I "might" have found something. Build 147 seems to demux no matter what mpls file I throw at it. Build 152 seems to crash if there is more ...

[RESOLVED] DGindexNV started crashing.
Hi. I wanted to demux a 4k UHD today. I have done that previously without any problems. In all cases I am opening the mpls file. I started out with build 152, and it crashes when it gets to the end of the demuxing. I end up with a folder that looks like it might be complete files, but since dgindexn...

Re: Feature Requests
Hi. I just tested the 64bit test file, and it seems to be working quite nicely. I think it would be OK, if it just works with the MPLS file. I don't know how much info is available to you, but if the number of subs, and maybe the number of forced subs if any, somehow could be added to the filename i...

Re: Feature Requests
@renols Please provide a stream for testing with an indication of what type of subs it contains and, if possible, a pointer to the specs. Also tell me what format you'd like for the output file. I will try to create a sample stream. When I use the demux menu now, I can already choose which audios I...

Sure, renols, the enhancements can be done for transport and program streams, and I have said that I will do it at some point. You're going to have to be a bit patient as I have a lot on my plate right now. I am an incremental not a big bang kind of guy. ;) No problem. I didn't see that you mention...

Re: Feature Requests
Hi. A lot of Work seems to have gone into demuxing MKV files with subtitles and everything. Would the same thing be possible for M2TS files, or when opening an MPLS playlist? Right now when I open an MPLS file and choose the demux menu, I only get the option for video and audio demuxing. No subs. An...

Re: Not able to start new version.
Hi.
I have redownloaded 126, and I can now start the program OK on my Win7 PC.
I have not tried to index anything, but I can open a .ts file just fine.
Thanks for quick reply.

[RESOLVED] Not able to start new version.
Hi. Just downloaded slipstream 126, and I simply can't start DGIndexNV anymore. The error that pops up no matter if I try to start 32 or 64 bit version is: CreateFile2 was not found in DLL library KERNEL32.dll I am using a Danish Windows 7, so I have translated the error message. Went back to 125 an...

[RESOLVED] Information panel empty?
Hi. Been using DGDecNV for quite some time, but at some point in the recent updates, after I run "Save Project" the Information panel is almost completely empty after it has saved the dgi file. I am pretty sure I remember the Information panel, having all kinds of information about the stream it jus...

[RESOLVED] Any gain in going from VP5 to VP6?
Hi. I have doubts wether or not I will see any substansial gain, by upgrading my current GTS450 (VP5) to a GTX750Ti (VP6). My objective it to get faster encoding speed. Does the VP engine even have anything to say about that, or are we talking raw proccessing power when it comes to encoding? I have ...

Re: Frames count different?
Hi.
The sample with the numbers I mentioned in my first post can be downloaded from
http://www.fileconvoy.com/dfl.php?id=g0 ... b41992557b
It is a TS file recorded by DVB-Viewer, and the source is 1280x720@50fps

Frames count different?
Hi. I have noticed for some time now, that when I use dgdecnv and load the dgi file into virtualdub, that the number of frames is not the same as when I load the TS file into VideoReDo. I have no way of telling which program is reporting the correct value though. VideoReDo for example says that I ha...

[RESOLVED] License stopped working.
Hi. Today I found out that my license was no longer valid. I went to the online generator and created a new one, after which it worked again. However, the only thing I have added is a DVB-C TV tuner to an USB port on the PC. Is this really considered to be a network device? Since I have only used tw...

Re: Blending issues.
Hi. I am sorry if I did a post that should not have been posted on this forum. As I wrote when it gets demuxed, the field type constantly changes between TFF and MBAFF, but I guess that has nothing to do with the issue then. I have tried SRestore, but I either end up with some very "jerky" playback,...
