Propping up straw men is a not-so-subtle form of rhetoric to be eschewed. I refer of course to the quantum measurement straw man.

The logical validity of an argument is a function of its internal consistency, not the truth value of its premises.
That's insane, or at the least, postmodern.

Reference there, I suppose, is to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matilda_(1996_film). Miss Natasha, intelligence is merely a social construct that should not be used to divide and excoriate:

Fortunately it's only a display issue in DGIndexNV GUI.
However, it's unfortunate to the extent that using DGIndexNV to find good DGHDRtoSDR() parameters is now problematic.

Will it be Bottoms Up, or Naughty Nattie?

Meanwhile Rocky's acute thinking reminds us of the vaunted Plato, thinker for the ages. Set the wayback machine, Sherman. We're going to talk to the great man himself!

Re: 2 Issues I hit today

With respect to Natasha 's comment, the limits are per-process. Opening the script in multiple VirtualDub(2) instances involves multiple processes, whereas the reload involves only one process. Fortunately there is a simple solution to this problem. DGDecNV has MAX_WIDTH and MAX_HEIGHT of 8192 and 8...

Re: 2 Issues I hit today

The 8K support could be disabled for 32-bit operation. However, do we want ugly warts just to salvage the 32-bit reload in VirtualDub(2)? Methinks not. With the status quo 8K can still be opened in 32-bit, although VirtualDub(2) reload fails.
