Seamlessly branching multi-disc movies with Atmos
Edit: tested it, same issue unfortunately. The files play perfectly in VLC on my PC, but when playing Atmos through my AVR I get the audio dropout at the joint. What are you using for playback? I'm led to understand that there is a problem with Plex on the NVidia Shield (and maybe other devices) th...

Seamlessly branching multi-disc movies with Atmos
How precise is this going to be? As in, what range of durations can be expected in these frame cycles that are the limitation on where you can cut? Is it always/typically/maybe/never going to be sub-video-frame timing? Can you provide feedback from the tool as to exactly where you end up making the ...

Seamlessly branching multi-disc movies with Atmos
If you end up making the generalized version (cut anywhere, roughly speaking), that would be amazing. In theory that should allow for some ability (maybe not perfect depending on the size of these groupings you describe) to make arbitrary sync corrections on Atmos tracks without losing the Atmos (cu...

Feature request: Demux only TrueHD and No THD+AC3 merge
I really appreciate all of the work you've done on DGDemux over the last few months. I use it almost daily and while I don't use every feature, it's sure nice to know that it can do everything I might need. Not to mention having responsive support if there is a problem. At this point I've (finally) ...

Feature request: Demux only TrueHD and No THD+AC3 merge
I tested the GUI using 3 TrueHD discs (all 3 options for each) and everything seems to work as expected. :salute: Just about jumped out of my chair on the first run, though, because I had forgotten how loud the "finished" noise is. A long time ago I replaced "finished.wav" with a much quieter altern...

Feature request: Demux only TrueHD and No THD+AC3 merge
Sorry, I'm making some assumptions... 1) that you are American, and 2) that July 4th is treated similarly to our July 1st (Canada Day) in creating a de facto long weekend even if it falls mid-week (i.e. most businesses close for the nearest Monday or Friday). Neither of those may be correct. Also I ...

You're too quick for me on the long weekend (I presume it is for you too with the 4th on Tuesday). Forget the acorns, I think you need a big ol' box of fireworks and an open field!

Feature request: Demux only TrueHD and No THD+AC3 merge
I tested this on two discs (Uncharted USA UHD-BD with TrueHD 7.1/Atmos and Yojimbo JPN 'Toho' 2009 Blu-ray with "ordinary" TrueHD 5.1) and it worked as advertised for both. However, may I propose a slight adjustment to the ordering of the options? It seems more intuitive to me to put "no merge" in t...

Feature request: Demux only TrueHD and No THD+AC3 merge
It's funny that the THD merge was a requested feature not that long ago, but I also find it annoying as the default because I always have to delete it.
If those two switches are not too much effort to implement, I would find them helpful too.

Output all file names after demuxing
If I may poke my nose in here again:
If you plan to add code to check for a bare "-demux", would it possibly be about the same work but slightly more intuitive for users to have an "all" case (i.e. "-demux all")?

Output all file names after demuxing
Could you use a directory listing and RegEx search to compile that list? I do this with Python when automating various file and folder handling, not from DGDemux specifically, but the idea should be the same. As long as you know the base name and the basic format of each possible output file (audio,...

Note that demuxing with -ep disables -sf/-sl. If you don't need the first and last sets, just delete them. When I make a release I will also revise DGDemuxGUI to turn off -sf/-sl when -ep is turned on. Guys, it just gets too darned complex to support both at the same time and too darned complex mak...

On a related note (hopefully close enough to justify this hijacking), if you select both "Skip last M2TS" and "Episode demuxing" at the same time (for example, if there is a tacked-on foreign credits or studio logo or something at the end of a multi-episode playlist), DGDemuxGUI ignores the "Skip la...

DGIndex CLI never returns to prompt
A quick update: this works fine when run via Python script. The failure to return to the prompt without a keypress when using it manually does not appear to hinder or hold up the script from proceeding. So... all is well!

Demux By Chapters/Timestamps?
This has some relation to the the issues being discussed here but I didn't want to hijack that thread any further. I've run into a few TV series discs where the episodes are all combined into a single M2TS and played from a single MPLS, but there are chapters present for the start of each episode (m...

Manually select M2TS to demux
I'm butting into the conversation here because this subject interests me as well. "it has issues with eac3" If you try to demux DD+ (a.k.a. E-AC-3) with eac3to, it throws a warning: MKV, 1 video track, 1 audio track, 1:33:29, 24p 1: h264/AVC, English, 1280x688 24p (37:20) 2: EAC3, English, 5.1 chann...

Demuxed LPCM 3.0 (Perspecta) is messed up
There's at least one stereo example in that specification that you linked, so it would seem that EXTENSIBLE should be safe for nchans < 3 unless other applications have poor implementations that create compatibility problems (not that you have any reason to be beholden to broken 3rd-party tools).

Demuxed LPCM 3.0 (Perspecta) is messed up
Released fix as build 66. Thank you for reporting this and supporting the debugging. If we run into any 20-bit streams, then we will need to implement extensible. I've never seen one although they are allowed on a bluray. Thanks for the fix! :salute: Is implementing WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE a substan...

Is that a fix specific to this disc, or does it generalize to handle other possible non-standard PCM channel counts?
