@HPotter

Please re-download the test version and run again. Now it should look like this:

I have a theory now, and put in a fix to test it. Theory: Delphi 7 ExtractFilePath() does not support wideString. But then why does it work for me?
Was out of PC.

Seems it's going.

Guess my theory was right. There are lots of those calls. Either have to go for all of them now or wait for you to hit new ones. Keep me informed if you run into new instances using your unicode strings.

Thank you!

We can imitate this case, I just renamed another disk, added the same ö UTF-8 symbol and got the same thing.

Like this one:

Code: Select all

Please re-test with eac3to_3.46_test version in main binaries folder. The debug prints were removed so don't expect to see them.

Thank you for your assistance in resolving this issue. :salute:

Gonna look at yer other problem now.
