Importing files

Me camera is a Canon Vixia HF S20,,,AVCHD. The files are saved as .mts. Is there a way to import or open directly in VirtualDub without transcoding the files as .avi? We all know how big .avi files can get.

Since this is the support forum for my tools, I would first recommend using DGDecNV together with Avisynth.
A second possibility is the Avisynth filter DSS2() together with one of the following:
CoreAVC
DiAVC
ffdshow

DGDecNV will open your .mts files without any problem.
