Hey Rocky, which monitor did you get?

Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Still looking at that one I linked earlier. DG wants 8K now.

The AORUS seems to be 8 bit
The Viewsonic might be 400 nits according to spec sheet, but it seems good overall.

What spec sheet? Link? It claims to be DisplayHDR600 certified.

Weird. For the ViewSonic, at the top it says DisplayHDR 600, but lower down it says 400 for brightness. Maybe it changes depending on if HDR is enabled or not. Tried to submit a sales enquiry but that is broken (bad sign).

I might not be reading it right, but it seems that DisplayHDR600 means peak of 600 nits, but specs state typical (avg) is 400
