How do I disable that annoying sound at the end of indexing? It's driving me crazy.

BTW: Is this something new? I didn't notice it before.

I think it was mentioned in the binary update notification. Just delete the audio file, or replace it with happy jingles or whatever

That doesn't work, because then it annoyingly beeps instead of that sound.

In settings, I'd like to have "Disable sound/beep at the end". Is it possible, pretty please?

We definitely don't want to make our users go crazy! Re-download 238 and update DGIndexNV.exe. I fixed it so that if the finished.wav file is not present then nothing is played.

You can also try ctrl-mousewheel but it is not finished yet. Curly said he needs to make it play nice with the Info dialog (the snap is lost).

Curly fixed the info snap on ctrl-mousewheel, so I re-uploaded 238.

I guess you are not a DGDemux user.

I'm not, I haven't needed it yet.

If you ever do need it, be prepared to be annoyed again.

An annoying sound beats an annoying odor. Everything is measured in a relative manner. To avoid disappointment, don't expect too much.

On batch jobs it has no sense.
