Hi,
trying to open mpeg-1 content with DGIndexNV I get:
---------------------------
Video Type Detect Error
---------------------------
MPEG1 video not supported.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Since NVDec should decode this fine (https://developer.nvidia.com/video-enco ... matrix-new) I hoped that DGDecNV would too.
Not much of an issue, since MPEG-1 content is usually easy to decode by CPU, but still I wanted to ask whether MPEG-1 could also be supported?
Also, it would be nice if AV-1 could be supported too.
(got an NVIDIA Geforce 4080 which can decode it,...)

MPEG-1 and AV-1 support?
MPEG-1 and AV-1 support?
Greetings, Selur, my friend. MPEG1 is simply not worth the effort. Gotta watch that progress bar of life.
Who's using AV1 and why is it important? Sherman would say he could implement it in an afternoon. Agreed, we need to support the important formats.
4080 huh? Anything compelling versus 3090?

Google and Netflix use AV1.
I use it and since newer Intel and NVIDIA cards have hardware encoding support for it is I suspect there are others too.
(still had a 1070ti)

Fair enough.MPEG1 is simply not worth the effort.
Main reason for me was: More computational power when it comes to machine learning.4080 huh? Anything compelling versus 3090?
