I have an AVC High@L4.2 1080p 30fps YUV 4:2:0 8bit MKV video. I drag the video into DGIndexNV and I can see a picture. When I try to save a project I get this message "Error: Couldn't open the output file". I can't OK the message as the program has frozen and I have to end the task.
My licence is working as I've indexed 1080i videos without issues before.
Why can't it index the file?
[RESOLVED] Can't Index 1080p 30fps Video
Re: Can't Index 1080p 30fps Video
Could be a problem demuxing the audio from the MKV file. You could try disabling that stream. Can you please give an MKV sample?
Re: Can't Index 1080p 30fps Video
Thank you. It's caused by the ??? characters in the generated filename. That is coming from the language code, which is specified as ??? in your file. I will fix that and make a slipstream right now. Thank you for pointing this out.
Re: Can't Index 1080p 30fps Video
Fixed in slipstream 218.
Re: [RESOLVED] Can't Index 1080p 30fps Video
Thanks. It's working now. Any idea how long after you release an update does it take to appear in MeGUI update tool?
If I can't wait that long, is there any harm in me just manually copying and replacing all the files in the MeGUI > Tools > DGIndexNV folder with the files from your download zip from your site?

Re: [RESOLVED] Can't Index 1080p 30fps Video
Don't know. I have no control or input on that (other than we allow the awesome MeGUI to distribute our binaries).
Should be just fine to do that.If I can't wait that long, is there any harm in me just manually copying and replacing all the files in the MeGUI > Tools > DGIndexNV folder with the files from your download zip from your site?
