Issue with drag and drop

Post by Guest 2 »

I have found a small issue with drag and drop.

Steps:
  1. Open DGIndexNV
  2. Drag and drop a BD folder
  3. Select a MPLS
  4. Optional: select a frame from the bar (it will be easier to see the bug)
  5. Drag and drop the same BD folder (perhaps it works dropping another too)
  6. Close the MPLS selection window with X
The movie will still be there but you can't select other frames with time bar, plus, sometimes, trying to close DGIndexNV with the X will take some more time than usual.

I never anticipated that anyone would drag and drop a disk. I'll look into it. For now, use File/Open Disk.

To be clear: I drop the decrypted structure of the BD from the SSD, not the unencrypted one directly from the BD optical disk.

You didn't need to point that out. I'm well aware that DGIndexNV cannot do decryption. ;)

Fixed in slipstream 233 by preventing this scenario.

I can't drag and drop anything anymore.

What a pity. It was really comfortable.

If you have a shortcut to DGIndexNV on your desktop, you can drop your disk onto that. You just can't drop onto an open instance of DGIndexNV. Can you live with that?

Yes but not comfortably. I'd prefer to have direct drag and drop as, I think, the vast majority of users.

Please fix the bug and give it us back :bow:

Re-download 233. Gonna work. Thank me. A one-liner.

// MessageBox(hWnd, "Use File/Open Disk to load a disk structure.", NULL, MB_OK | MB_ICONERROR);
PostMessage(hWnd, WM_COMMAND, IDM_OPEN_MPLS, NULL);

It happens to me that drag and dropping index.bdmv makes DGIndexNV exiting.

Is it a normal behaviour? Couldn't it simply open the default mpls associated to index.bdmv?

I don't currently parse index.bdmv so can't get any MPLS out of it. However, I could accept that file just to find the top level path to open the disk. Would that be frogalicious?

OK, I looked into it and decided it is too minor to justify the added complexity.
