OK, thank you.
I have talked to a broadcast employee who uses AVS for work.
He answered: RGB,YUV, XYZ, RGBPS (never heard this last one, perhaps he meant sRGB?), at least up to planar 16 bit.

The problem is that there is no documented standalone DLL I can link to, and I am not willing to do C# development to make one. I could automatically invoke an exe but the gain is minor and there are much more important things to do.

Thought I'd update on things that are on my plate. In no particular order
You are neglecting me.

I am doing some encoding where the last m2ts is a long list of credits.
Would you please don't change language and chapters detection when last m2ts is deleted?
In the future, allow us to edit m2ts list as imported from mpls.

Please explain this. What happens that you don't like?

Well, it seems nothing.
For some reason yesterday it was forgetting to write chapters, languages and qp.
Now it (6 July test version) works. WTF.

PEBKAC?
BTW, you can edit the M2TS list using File/Open. Yes, I know you lose language detection that way but it at least accomplishes your main goal. Editing at MPLS open level will eventually be done, for DGDemux also.

Would you please replace/add PNG to BMP image output?
It's a bit anachronistic now.
EDIT: Found an issue. When saving a cropped image, the BMP is not correct, i.e. it shows borders and in the wrong part too. Not tried with top/bottom side.

State image original size and cropping values. Can do PNG if it is not too hard.

Video/Copy Frame to Clipboard. You can open IrfanView and do ctl-v. Then save as PNG if you like. We aim to please.

Had to look up TIL. An Italian frog knows more vernacular English than a native American squirrel. Who knew?
You could argue that Save BMP and Copy BMP should be in the same menu. I don't have any good reason why they aren't.

I read more english than italian, plus a friend of mine is really fond of english acronyms and most of the time he (ab)uses them while talking by IM so...

Feel free to share more acronyms with us.
I understand your reluctance to dare. I may not have poison spines but after my post-accident dental work (
DG ) I have some fearsome incisors.
No contest. IFYP

Won't say never but honestly, it's unlikely. I'd be open to doing it on contract but obviously that's not going to happen. It's a ton of work, which I could justify when getting some revenue, but that era is over thanks to crackers. Those guys win the battle but lose the war, because people stop developing things.
