Thank you, Frankaboy, for letting me know about that. I had accidentally put the linux version inside the windows version zip. Re-download the latter if you also need the windows version.

Hello Sherman, hello Rocky, :salute:
I hope very much DG convalescence was successful and he is fully recovered?

I have two subjects with dgdemux linux.

a) strange delays for dts audio streams, see examples below.
Created for demux: HOBBIT_EXT_PT1_D1_00100 PID 1101 7.1 48 1536 deu DELAY -11650ms.dts
Created for demux: THE_HOBBIT_AUJ_EXT_00800 PID 1101 7.1 48 1536 deu DELAY -4198333ms.dts

b) progress status for 3d demuxing, mvc stream is not taken into account.
00006.m2ts [base]
Created for demux: HOBBIT_EXT_PT1_D1_00100 PID 1011.avc

Progress status is running from 1% to 100% for avc stream, afterwards demuxing of mvc stream starts.

00007.m2ts [dependent]
Created for demux: HOBBIT_EXT_PT1_D1_00100 PID 1012.mvc
Done!

May you can have a look into my subjects, please.

Hey Frankaboy! Thanks for the report. We two, seekers after truth. But questions, always questions, arise (without end?). Your first issue:

1. Does this happen with DGDemux windows also?
2. Did you try the -sf option?
3. Can you give a link to purchase the disk?

Regarding the second issue, let's see if it is easy to do. If not, probably won't do anything about it. Not sure why Rocky did it that way. I just ported it. I'm the best porter, you know it.

Sweetie Pie is not doing good. We're trying to help her. People tell me guys don't cry but. Mousie can't keep it together.

Hello Sherman, :salute:
I am very sad to hear that DG and Sweetie are not feeling better. :(
My best health wishes go from Harz Mountains to Frostbite Falls, Minnesota.
DG and Sweetie, please get well soon!

I have tested dgdemux windows build 74 with different backups and can confirm,
that it does not happen with dgdemux windows (-sf option is not used), see examples below.
ALITA_BATTLE_ANGEL_3D PID 1100 7.1 48 1536 eng DELAY 0ms.dts
ALITA_BATTLE_ANGEL_3D PID 1105 5.1 48 768 deu DELAY 0ms.dts
BOHEMIAN_RHAPSODY PID 1101 48 1536 eng DELAY 0ms.dts
BOHEMIAN_RHAPSODY PID 1106 5.1 48 768 deu DELAY 0ms.dts
DOCTOR_STRANGE2 PID 1100 7.1 48 1536 eng DELAY 0ms.dts
DOCTOR_STRANGE2 PID 1103 7.1ch 48KHz 896Kbps deu DELAY 0ms.eac3

Same discs with dgdemux linux (-sf option is not used), see examples below.
ALITA_BATTLE_ANGEL_3D PID 1100 7.1 48 1536 eng DELAY -11650ms.dts
ALITA_BATTLE_ANGEL_3D PID 1105 5.1 48 768 deu DELAY -11650ms.dts
BOHEMIAN_RHAPSODY PID 1101 48 1536 eng DELAY -11650ms.dts
BOHEMIAN_RHAPSODY PID 1106 5.1 48 768 deu DELAY -11650ms.dts
DOCTOR_STRANGE2 PID 1100 7.1 48 1536 eng DELAY -11650ms.dts
DOCTOR_STRANGE2 PID 1103 7.1ch 48KHz 896Kbps deu DELAY 0ms.eac3

Subject is not linked to specific disc, it only happens for dts audio streams!

First take care for DG and Sweetie Pie, I wait until they are healty again.

Thank you Frankaboy. I've duplicated it and have started investigating.

DG is OK now. The problem was found and (mostly) addressed. But Sweetie Pie is losing weight and acting confused. The vet says nothing was found other than normal aging. We'll make her golden years golden! When daddy's not looking I share my ribeyes with her. ;)

Hey Frankaboy, I think I got it. Can you re-download linux build 73 and give it a try? If you confirm it's fixed I'll make a slipstream. Then I'll have a peek at the progress issue with MVC.

Thank you, Frankaboy, for the report and your testing. You, me, we're like a team, right? Laurel and Hardy, LOL.

I'm gonna look into the progress thing and we need to fix the plane numbers too, like Rocky did for the windows version. Maybe some other stuff too.

Hello Sherman, :salute:

I hope you and the DG team are well.

Could you update dgdemux linux 1.0.0.73 to the same functionality as dgdemux windows 1.0.0.77, please.

And if it's not too much work,
a Linux version of DGMVCCombine.exe would be great for me.
:hat:

Kind Regards from

Hello Sherman, :salute:
many thanks I am fine too. :)
Several 3d Blurays demuxed with dgdemux_linux_1.0.0.77_test, no issues found, works like a charm. :hat:

May you can have a peek at the progress issue with MVC.
Progress status for 3d demuxing, mvc stream is not taken into account, example for HOBBIT_EXT_PT1_D1.
00006.m2ts [base]
Created for demux: HOBBIT_EXT_PT1_D1_00100 PID 4113.avc
Progress status is running from 1% to 100% for avc stream, afterwards demuxing of mvc stream starts.
00007.m2ts [dependent]
Created for demux: HOBBIT_EXT_PT1_D1_00100 PID 4114.mvc
Done!

In case of seamless branching, like Avatar Way of Water, progress status works fine.

Hello Sherman, :salute:
dgmvccombine works fine for me, many thanks. :bravo:
Tested with AVATAR_THE_WAY_OF_WATER_DISC_1.

May you can improve the combine progress a little bit, please.
Currently it shows:
45000 frames processed,
overwritten with: 90000 frames processed,
overwritten with: 133000 frames processed.
When finished, it empties the combine progress.

The same progress like dgdemux (0% up to 100%, Done!) would be great.
I plan to write a small GUI for dgmvccombine for my own needs.
With a progress like dgdemux, I can feel very comfortable the progress bar.

Many thanks again Sherman, it is a pleasure to be part for this forum.

Hello Sherman, :salute:
many thanks for the update.
I made some tests, but it seems that there is a small bug.
Progress from 0% up to 99% will not reported.
Bildschirmfoto_20241104_191631.png
When combining is finished, progress shows 100% and number of processed frames.
Bildschirmfoto_20241104_191814.png
Do I something wrong?

I always forget that stdout is line buffered by default on linux.
